NEW HAVEN– mujer da a luz mientras a la misma vez corría para un puesto político en el pueblo de New Haven. Ellen Cupo dio a luz un niño (Hunter Ian Cupo) de 7 libras con 2 onza, y 20.25 pulgadas de largo. Mientras daba a luz, Cupo se enteró que ganó las eleciones para la Consejería de New Haven.

En una entrevista para los noticieros esta mañana, Cupo respondió a las criticas de cómo iba a poder servir su cargo con un recién nacido. Cupo silenció a los críticos afirmando el apoyo que su madre le brindará en el cuidado de su recién nacido mientras ella ejerce su puesto político.
